The DeMarini 2009 F4 ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat has been upgraded for the new season. The handle has been improved to a C6 composite working in tandem with a new SC-4 alloy Doublewall barrel. This combination is reputed to deliver more strength and performance than this model has ever previously demonstrated. Due to this combination, a player should be able to feel the flex of the bat without losing the solid connection between the softball bat itself and the ball. Designed with players in mind who love the response of an alloy barrel but want the power associated with a stiffer handle, the Demarini 2009 F4 ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat is intended to deliver both through the battle-proven design combined with the new composite materials.
Review Of The DeMarini F4 ASA Slow Pitch Bat
The Demarini F4 ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat takes a little bit of time to break in, but once you get past the first 200 hits or so, bring on the power. Definitely spend a little time with the bat before you use it in a big game just be sure that it is totally hot. Once you get warmed up, you will be amazed at yourself when hits that used to bounce now fly over the fence. You can literally hit harder with this bat than you can with others – the technology is pretty incredible. Of course, you may want to step away from the plate about half a step since the flex point it a little high, but really, once you know that you will not be able to rein in the power that you are sending to the ball. Do not be surprised if once you let your teammates try it, half the team ends up using it. Just be sure to share nicely.

The F4 has a great feel to it. I had expected it to be a bit heavier being an aluminum bat and all. I was really surprised at how light it felt. It really felt durable. First couple of hits were a bit rough. But, I popped two home runs in the same game. First time I had ever done that. For the price I could not have asked for more. I am definitely very satisfied with this bat.
This is a really got double wall slow pitch bat. It took a litle breaking in but now I am hitting solid line drives and am able to place the ball really well. This is probably one of the best slow pitch bats that i have ever used. It is definitely a very powerful bat. It is definitely well worthy the investment.
This bat was a great bat out of the wrapper! Had good control and weight distribution. Durability was a huge issue with this bat! Didn’t even last half a season and I was the only person using this bat. Cracked it in half and im not even a power hitter. Really dissapointed in this bat>
