When it comes to softball bats, the DeMarini 2009 The One ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat really is “The One” to have in your arsenal. It is incredibly well balanced, with a good grip, incredible pop and a mega-sweet spot that you seriously have to try and miss. After watching this bat in action with different players and in different games, I’m sold. The price is high, but the value is tremendous. You will get so much use out of this bat whether you use it for practice to refine your swing and understand how you are interacting with the ball or whether you save it for the “big time.” This softball bat pops literally right out of the wrapper and I’ve got to say, it makes a nice sound as it sends the ball flying. Furthermore, the unique graphics add some serious visual intimidation to the overall package. The only thing that I had any issue with was that some people have mentioned that it tends to break maybe a little more easily than other bats in the same price range. However, I did not break any, and furthermore it has not stopped the same people from going out and getting new “Ones” right away. It is a good bat it has a great pop and a comfortable grip. Hit 3 home runs the first time I used it. It feels really balanced. Hits are comfortable not a lot of vibration but good performance. The graphics are OK. But, with a name like “The One” you expect a bit more from the graphics department. But, I don’t really care about the graphics anyway. I just care about how it hits. As far as i am concerned it is well worth the money.
Fantastic! This softball bat is great. First time I ever bought a bat like this. I was a little worried but WOW! I am really glad I did. To hear the pop is music to my ears. I really liked the balanced feel of it. The grip was perfect. It made my swing feel like an extension of my arm. It didn’t feel forced, like some bats.
It took a while to break this bat in. But, once it was boy did it bob. I think the graphics are perfect i don’t really care for the flashy stuff. I hit a couple 300+ with this thing. It is great.
I just got this bat. And I wish i would have gotten it a long time ago. I hit my first home run with this bat. What a rush. My batting has improved significantly since I started using it. I did not finds that a lot of breaking in was necessary to see the true power of this slow pitch bat. It is really comfortable to hit with as well.
